Securitization is a major issue in almost all sorts of financing transactions especially for debt financing. The firm has established its services in drafting complex financing agreements and taking all relevant steps towards covenants, securitization, perfection and enforcement as the best one could get in Bangladesh.


Financial Sector Reform Project (FSRP): D&D worked as the lead local counsel for World Bank's US$175 million IDA credit carrying stipulations for extensive reform and to build the modernized banking platform. IMF provided technical assistance in monetary policy and bank supervision and USAID’s US$19.4 million for a large program of direct assistance cumulatively became the FSRP Technical Assistance Program.


IFC - D&D is now working for IFC in its financing in first Bangladeshi Regasification Terminal.


IDA Credit to SAARC SDF- D&D has just completed advising in operationalization of the two Investment windows for SAARC Development Fund (SDF) under a grant from IDA. Under the assignment the firm also drafted different Master Agreements targeted for line of finance facilities to different private sectors, banks, financial institutions, public undertaking and Government along with range of securities, guarantees, intercreditor and escrow arrangements.


Asian Development Bank (IDA Credit) – The financing was arranged for Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Company under an IDA credit grant in syndication among Asian Development Bank, Canadian International Development Authority, Islamic Development Fund and Overseas Economic Co-operation Fund. D&D worked as Bangladesh counsel for the Lenders led by ADB.


Gates Foundation - D&D worked for Gates Foundation in financing of USD15m (Gates Foundation contribution) in the first mobile banking company in Bangladesh in syndication with IFC and Money in Motion.


European Investment Bank – D&D is now working for EIB in Euro 73 million lending in the Dhaka Environmentally Sustainable Water Supply Project. Other co-financiers include ADB and AFD.


Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus JSC – D&D has just completed advising the bank in providing USD50m loan facility, under a government to government framework agreement, to the Local Government Division, a direct branch of the Bangladesh Government .


Islamic Development Bank – The firm is working for Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector, IDB with respect to its lines of credit facilities to a large number of Banks in Bangladesh with varied securitization arrangement


Export-Import Bank of China & Industrial & Commercial Bank of China - D&D worked as the local counsel for the Lenders working as a syndicate in their USD130m loan in the Kodda 350MW power plant.


China Development Bank - The firm advised China Development on securitization with respect to large scale foreign lending in Bangladesh.


Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) – D&D worked for OPIC for its financing in the 100MW Haripur Power Plant.


Finnish Fund For Industrial Co-operation Ltd. (FINNFUND) - The firm worked for FINNFUND in syndication with Standard Chartered Bank on the USD17m project financing of a power plant commissioned in Megnaghat.


Finnish Fund For Industrial Co-operation Ltd. (FINNFUND) - The firm is working for FINNFUND in another USD3.5m project financing of a captive power plant in Narayanganj.


AB Svensk Exportkredit – The firm worked for AB Svensk Exportkredit in financing of Barapukuria 230/132 KV Sub-station under Barapukuria Coal Fired Power.


AKA Bank – D&D is now worked for AKA Bank, Germany which is financing of USD6.7m by means of Export Credit in collaboration to Bank Asia.


AKA Bank – D&D is now working for AKA Bank, Germany which is financing of USD37m by means of Export Credit in collaboration to Dhaka Bank.


Commerzbank AG & AKA Bank – D&D is now working for the German syndicate in its financing of USD29m by means of Export Credit in collaboration to Arab Bangladesh Bank.


AKA Bank – D&D is now working for AKA Bank, Germany which is financing of USD18m by means of Export Credit in collaboration to United Commercial Bank.


BHF-BANK Aktiengesellschaft - D&D has been working for BHF-BANK in providing USD56m loan in Beximco Pahramceuticals.


Bremer Kreditbank AG - D&D has been working for BKB Bank with respect to an export contract between CCC Machinery GmbH, Hamburg, Germany and a company from Bangladesh


Commerzbank AG - We advise Commerzbank on various commodity derivative matters on regular basis in Bangladesh. We have also finalized a number of such arrangements with local banks for Commerzbank


IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG - D&D is now working for the German bank which is financing of USD18m by means of Export Credit in collaboration to Arab Bangladesh Bank.


Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank) - D&D is now advising Malaysia EXIM bank in a USD20m lending in a power project in Bangladesh
